« Les Systèmes financiers décentralisés (SFD, ndlr) contribuent pour près de 50%. Leur rôle est essentiel car ils rapprochent la population des services financiers et c’est bon pour le développement », a indiqué le directeur.
Seul vrai point noir a noté M. Tenou, la dégradation des taux de remboursement, de l’ordre de 8% alors que la norme généralement acceptée est de 3%. Il a invité les dirigeants des SFD a être plus vigilants et à sensibiliser leurs clients sur les obligations en matière de crédit.
Le Togo compte 88 organismes de microfinance dont 7 réseaux. Ils comprenant 103 structures de base pour un volume de clients estimés à 340.106. L’encours de crédit a augmenté de 11,8% pour s’établir à 129 milliards de Fcfa.
