Entre Avril et juin 2021, le Ghana a enregistré un taux de croissance du produit intérieur brut (PIB) à 3,9% contre 3,1% au premier trimestre de la même année. Soit une augmentation de 8,9% ce 2eme trimestre. L’information est donnée par le ‘’ Ghana Statistical Service’’ ( GSS).
D’après le rapport de ‘’ Ghana Statistical Service’’ (GSS) , le principal moteur de la croissance au cours du deuxième trimestre est le secteur des services .
En effet, selon ledit rapport le secteur des services a la part la plus élevée avec 50 % du PIB, suivi du secteur de l’industrie avec 29 %, tandis que l’agriculture avait la part la plus faible de 21 %.
Bien que le chiffre enregistré au deuxième trimestre soit une amélioration par rapport au premier trimestre de 3,1%, la croissance économique globale est toujours inférieure aux niveaux d’avant la pandémie
En effet , en 2019, Seulement qu’ au premier trimestre de l’année, le PIB Ghanéen affichait 7%.
« Malgré les ravages de la pandémie, nous travaillons à faire croître l’économie à un rythme beaucoup plus rapide cette année, notre objectif étant un taux de croissance du produit intérieur brut (PIB) de 5% », a déclaré Akufo-Addo, président Ghanéen lors du Business Summit à Accra le mardi 14 septembre 2021.
Au premier trimestre de cette année, l’économie a progressé de 3,1. Le secteur des services avait également la part la plus élevée avec 53% du PIB Ghanéen au premier trimestre de la même année.
