Près de 600 millions Dinar algérien de dépôts ont été enregistrés depuis le lancement de la formule finance islamique de la Banque Extérieur d’Algérie (BEA), a indiqué jeudi 31 Mars 2022 à Tizi-Ouzou son président directeur général, Lazhar Letreche.
S’exprimant à l’ouverture d’une nouvelle agence de la banque dans la ville des Genêts, M. Letreche, cité par l’agence APS, a précisé que depuis le lancement de cette formule, il y a 3 mois, par la BEA, « un engouement certain a été enregistré auprès des clients qui ont désormais le choix entre la finance conventionnelle et islamique ».
La BEA qui dispose d’un « ambitieux plan de développement » a déjà ouvert 16 guichets dédiés à la finance islamique et compte inaugurer un bon nombre durant ce mois sacré de Ramadan, notamment, à l’Est du pays, a fait savoir le même responsable.
