Selon KOUASSI Yao Georges, président de l’Association Professionnelle des Systèmes Financiers Décentralisés de Côte d’Ivoire (APSFD-CI), l’encours des dépôts a enregistré 278, 2 milliards FCFA, soit une progression de 24% comparé à 2016. Tandis que l’encours des crédits, s’est élevé à 270,4 milliards FCFA, également en hausse de 29,7%.
Aussi, au 31 décembre 2017, les 51 Services Financiers Décentralisés (SDF) agréés ont enregistré 1260 797 clients dont 761.244 hommes ,427.706 femmes et 71.847 personnes morales.
Le président de l’APSFD-CI a félicité les membres de l’association pour ces résultats car ils “démontrent le dynamisme du secteur de la Microfinance en Côte d’Ivoire’’.a t’il affirmé.
Pour lui, vu la spécificité de la cible et de la nature des services financiers qu’offre la microfinance, celle çi prouve ainsi, qu’elle reste un outil efficace de promotion économique et sociale et d’inclusion financière des populations à faible revenus. Exclues du système financier classique.
Par ailleurs, après réception des différents rapports, L’Assemblée Générale a donné quitus à tous les membres du Conseil d’Administration de l’APSFD-CI, ainsi qu’une décharge au commissaire aux comptes pour leur gestion et pour les actes accomplis en 2017.
Pour rappel, crée en 1998, l’APSFD-CI veut contribuer à l’émergence d’une nouvelle microfinance en Côte d’Ivoire à l’horizon 2020. Elle se positionne donc dans une dynamique de faciliter l’accès aux personnes économiquement faibles, à plusieurs services financiers. L’objectif étant au final de contribuer à la stratégie nationale d’inclusion financière de la Côte d’Ivoire.
