(Agence Ecofin) – La filiale au Maroc de Land’Or, une agro-industrie cotée à la Bourse de Tunis, a sollicité une nouvelle fois la BERD pour renforcer ses investissements, et soutenir sa trésorerie.
Land’Or Maroc Industries, la filiale marocaine du producteur tunisien de fromage Land’Or, a obtenu une deuxième ligne de crédit d’un montant de 36,9 millions de dirhams, environ 4 millions $ auprès de la Banque européenne pour la reconstruction et le développement (BERD), mardi 25 janvier 2022. Les modalités d’octroi de ce prêt, à savoir : le taux d’intérêt et la maturité n’ont pas été communiqués.
« Land’Or fait partie depuis 2020 du programme Blue Ribbon de la BERD dédié aux PME à fort potentiel. A travers ce mécanisme, la banque aide l’entreprise par le biais d’une assistance technique à adopter les normes internationales d’information financière ainsi qu’à accroître son potentiel d’exportation », lit-on dans une annonce officielle parue le 25 janvier.
Ce prêt fait suite à une première ligne de crédit de 10,9 millions d’euros accordée par la BERD à Land’Or Maroc en 2020 pour financer en partie une nouvelle usine de fromage qui devrait entrer en exploitation au deuxième trimestre 2022.
A travers ce financement, la structure marocaine devrait renforcer sa présence sur le marché local via des investissements annoncés pour l’acquisition de nouveaux équipements et l’extension des bâtiments et capacités de stockage. Elle qui cumule trois années d’existence mettra à disposition une partie des fonds obtenus pour renforcer ses besoins de trésorerie à court terme.
La BERD affirme avoir investi à ce jour, près de 3,2 milliards d’euros au Maroc à travers 80 projets.
