Le Franco-Sénégalais, Pathé DIONE, fondateur et Président du Groupe SUNU depuis 1998 est décédé à l’âge de 81 ans, à Paris des suites d’une maladie, selon des proches du défunt, ce jeudi 12 Janvier 2023.
Il a passé 24 ans de sa vie à entretenir et propulser ce groupe au plus haut point dans le monde de la finance.
Il a aussi finalisé l’acquisition de 54,11% de la BICIS , filiale de BNP Paribas en juillet 2022 pour consolider le pôle bancaire de son groupe.
SUNU Group, c’est plus de 4081 collaborateurs, 26 sociétés d’Assurances Vie et Non Vie, 1 Banque, 1 Société de microfinance, 1 Société immobilière et 2 sociétés de gestion Santé, répartis dans 17 pays africains.
