United Bank for Africa (UBA) a lancé la semaine dernière à Douala (Cameroun) le service UBA Connect , une solution de transactions  transfrontalières .  Ce service a été conçu pour apporter des solutions aux défis auxquels sont confrontés les commerçants et entreprises de la zone Cemac en paiement de biens et services.

 
UBA Connect, est une extension des services de transfert instantané d’UBA basé sur le système Finacle. Cette solution « offre aux clients de la zone Cemac un accès instantané à leurs fonds  dans toutes les filiales de la zone.  Ainsi que des plateformes de paiement et de traitement qui permettent de combler les lacunes dans les services bancaires et le commerce régional. », ont expliqué les dirigeants de la banque.
Les transactions  étant réalisées en quelques minutes, le produit permettra une transmission instantanée des fonds .  «UBA Connect, est un service non restrictif et pratique, qui démontre notre détermination à offrir une expérience inégalée dans tous les domaines. Nos chaînes sont conformes à la vision de UBA de dominer l’espace bancaire digital en Afrique.», a déclaré Kennedy Uzoka, directeur général du groupe, UBA.
Cette solution facilitera également les affaires en toute transparence, selon l’institution bancaire. Avec UBA Connect « les clients peuvent désormais traiter de façon transparente de l’un des 19 pays africains dans lesquels la banque opère actuellement, indépendamment de l’endroit où le compte est domicilié», a indiqué Chukwuma Nweke, directeur groupe des opérations et technologies de l’information d’UBA. « La banque a gagné sa place de chef de file dans les solutions de paiement digitales. Elle profitera donc de sa portée et des canaux pour relier ses clients à leurs comptes respectifs dans leurs pays d’origine.  » a poursuivi M. Nweke.
Au cours des prochaines semaines, UBA Connect sera lancé dans toutes les régions où UBA opère. Afin de faire en sorte que ses clients puissent réaliser toutes leurs opérations dans l’ensemble des agences à travers l’Afrique comme s’ils étaient dans leur pays de résidence. Dès lors, un même compte bancaire ouvert chez UBA sera accessible à travers les 19 pays.
L’institution bancaire est en passe de devenir la banque digitale de référence du Continent. UBA est d’ailleurs l’une des banques africaines qui offrent à ses clients un large choix de services financiers et électroniques, dont la fiabilité et l’efficacité sont reconnues.
