Standard Chartered a identifié plusieurs types de fraudes auxquels il faudrait faire attention. Notamment entre autre, la fraude au paiement,  les fraudes liées au distributeur automatique et à la carte bancaire.

Comment éviter les fraudes au paiement ?

Lors d’un paiement, ne vous emballez pas trop vite. Prenez le temps de vérifier l’identité de l’autre. Celui ou celle qui se trouve de  l’autre coté. Vérifier si c’est une entité légitime avant de fournir vos informations de paiement. Aussi, avant tout achat en ligne,  vérifiez bien l’authenticité du site Internet. Et, ne faites d’achat que sur un site internet sécurisé. Sans oublier d’utiliser toujours des mots de passe robustes pour vos comptes d’achats.

Comment éviter les fraudes au distributeur automatique ?

Pour un retrait au distributeur automatique, faites toujours preuve de vigilance. Ne donnez jamais votre code PIN à quelqu’un. Et pensez à  toujours couvrir le clavier quand vous saisissez votre code PIN, au cas où vous n’êtes pas seul. Si la machine vous semble être trafiquée ou dans une disposition inhabituelle comme la présence de fils exposés branchés à l’appareil. Ne l’utilisez pas !

Aussi, au guichet automatique, si vous trouvez un guichet bloqué, n’utilisez pas les autres machines disponibles. Parfois, les distributeurs automatiques peuvent avoir été désactivés délibérément pour vous contraindre à utiliser une machine installée renfermant un dispositif destiné à copier vos données.

La banque conseille en outre de vérifier régulièrement votre relevé bancaire. Afin de recherche de transactions inhabituelles ou non autorisées. Et , si vous constatez des irrégularités, signalez-les immédiatement. En cas de perte ou vol de carte bancaire, veuillez s’il vous plait le signaler immédiatement

Comment vous protéger de la fraude à la carte bancaire ?

Vos cartes bancaires sont usitées, vous voulez vous en débarrasser ? Eh bien, veuillez s’il vous plaitdéchiquetez les relevés de cartes bancaires avant de vous en débarrasser. A indiqué aussi la banque. Sans oublier de toujours examiner vos relevés de cartes bancaires et signalez immédiatement tout élément suspect à la banque.

Pour rappel, Standard Chartered Bank est une  une banque britanique  fondée en 1853. 1853, dont le siège social est  à Londres. Elle figure parmi les 30 plus grosses capitalisations boursières britanniques.  La banque a lancé sa banque mobile en 2018,en Cote d’Ivoire.
